CCI Approves Acquisition of Macquarie AirFinance by Dubai Aerospace Enterprise

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of Macquarie AirFinance Limited by Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd through DAE Eirecam Designated Activity Company. The Competition Commission of India approved the proposed acquisition on 3rd June, 2026. 

The proposed combination pertains to the acquisition of Macquarie AirFinance Limited from its current shareholders by Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd through its downstream holding entity, DAE Eirecam Designated Activity Company.  

Acquiring Entity 

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd is a globally active aircraft lessor headquartered in Dubai. The company serves customers in more than 80 countries. DAE Eirecam Designated Activity Company is a downstream holding of DAE Ltd. 

Target Company 

Macquarie AirFinance Limited is a globally active aircraft lessor headquartered in Dublin. The company serves customers in more than 45 countries.
