CCI Approves Brink's Company Acquisition of NCR Atleos Corporation

The proposed combination of The Brink's Company acquiring the entire equity share capital of NCR Atleos Corporation has been approved by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). Following completion of the transaction, NCR Atleos Corporation will become a wholly owned and controlled subsidiary of The Brink's Company. 

Acquirer's Business Operations 

The Brink's Company is a global provider of cash and valuables management, digital retail solutions, and ATM managed services. It operates in more than 100 countries. 

In India, the company principally provides cash replenishment services and ancillary first-line maintenance services through its subsidiary, Brink's India Private Limited. 

Target Company's Activities 

NCR Atleos Corporation is a financial technology company that provides self-directed banking solutions globally. 

Its operations in India principally include: 

  • Manufacturing and supplying ATM hardware, including through its manufacturing facility in Chennai;  
  • Developing and licensing ATM software;  
  • Providing ATM managed services, including monitoring, help-desk, and transaction processing; and  
  • Offering ATM maintenance services, including first-line maintenance and second-line maintenance.  

CCI Approval 

The Competition Commission of India has approved the proposed acquisition under which The Brink's Company will acquire 100% of the equity share capital of NCR Atleos Corporation. Upon completion of the transaction, the target company will be wholly owned and controlled by the acquirer.
