CCI Approves Kimberly-Clark’s Acquisition of Kenvue Inc.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of Kenvue Inc. by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. 

The proposed transaction involves Kimberly-Clark acquiring sole control over Kenvue Inc. under an Agreement and Plan of Merger dated 2nd November, 2025, as per the official press release. 

Business Activities of the Companies 

Kimberly-Clark operates globally in products made from natural and synthetic fibres and materials. Its businesses include baby and child care, adult care, feminine care, family care, and professional products. In India, the company mainly supplies feminine hygiene products and baby diapers. 

Kenvue operates in consumer health segments including self-care, skin health and beauty, and essential health products. In India, its operations include non-prescription medicines, oral care products, digestive health products, skin and beauty products, sun protection products, baby toiletries and feminine hygiene products.
