CCI Approves L’Oréal India’s Acquisition of Onesto Labs

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed acquisition of 100% shareholding in Onesto Labs Private Limited by L’Oréal India Private Limited, according to a press release dated September 22, 2026. 

Business Activities of L’Oréal India 

L’Oréal India is engaged in the research, innovation, manufacture, marketing, sale and export of beauty and personal care (BPC) products in India. Its product segments include skin care and hair care, and its products are marketed through various distribution channels under several globally recognised brands. 

Onesto Labs’ Business 

Onesto Labs is engaged in the manufacture and sale of beauty and personal care products across various segments, including skin care and hair care, under multiple brands.
