CCI Clears CPPIB Investment in CtrlS Datacenters

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of certain shareholding in CtrlS Datacenters Limited by CPPIB India Private Holdings Inc. The details of the transaction have been shared below. 

According to the press release issued on 12th May, 2026, the proposed combination involves CPPIB India Private Holdings Inc. acquiring a stake in CtrlS Datacenters Limited. 

CPPIB India Private Holdings Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). CPPIB is an investment management organisation managing the Canada Pension Plan Fund and invests across public equities, private equity, real estate, infrastructure and fixed income instruments.
