Collegium recommends 6 Permanent Judges for Bombay High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for appointment of 6 Additional Judges as Permanent Judges of Bombay High Court. The Official Statement dated 18th May, 2026 contains the names of the following Additional Judges for appointment as Permanent Judges of Bombay High Court: 

1. Justice Nivedita Prakash Mehta,  
2. Justice Prafulla Surendrakumar Khubalkar,  
3. Justice Ashwin Damodar Bhobe,  
4. Justice Rohit Wasudeo Joshi,  
5. Justice Advait Mahendra Sethna, and  
6. Justice Pravin Sheshrao Patil.
