Nine Advocates Appointed as Additional Judges of Punjab and Haryana HC

The President of India has appointed nine Advocates as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The information regarding appointment of advocates was shared by the Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal through his official X handle. 

The following Advocates have been appointed as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court: 

1. Ms. Monica Chhibber Sharma
2. Shri Harmeet Singh Deol
3. Shri Pravindra Singh Chauhan
4. Shri Rajesh Gaur
5. Ms. Puja Chopra
6. Shri Sunish Bindlish
7. Shri Minderjeet Yadav
8. Ms. Divya Sharma
9. Shri Ravinder Malik 

The appointments were made in exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India. 

Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the names of 10 advocates for appointment as Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in pursuance of its meeting held on 4th May, 2026.
