Juggernaut Books is organizing the Book Launch of “14 Lawyers – Portraits from the Bar”. Authored by Senior Advocate Raju Ramachandran, the book is seemingly a reflection of 14 personalities from the legal profession, more precisely into litigation.  upon the

About the Author 

Sh. Raju Ramachandran is a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. He has formerly served as the Additional Solicitor General of India. He has also served as the amicus curiae for the Supreme Court in the 2002 Gujarat riots case, as well as the appeal of Ajmal Kasab in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack case.  

Brought up in Delhi, Senior Advocate Raju Ramchandran studied economics and initially wanted to become a journalist. However, he was so affected by the Kesavananda Bharati judgment that he chose to study law. He joined the Bar in July 1976, later started independent practice, qualified as an Advocate-on-Record, and was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court of India in September, 1996.    

He was elected as the Vice-President of Supreme Court Bar Association for 2001-2002. He served as the Additional Solicitor General of India from 2002 till 2004. He has argued several important cases so far, and this book “14 Lawyers – Portraits from the Bar” is going to be a reflection of years of experience at the Bar.
