Seven Former High Court Judges conferred Senior Advocate Designation by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has issued a list of former High Court judges for designation as the Senior Advocates by the Supreme Court of India. 

The Supreme Court Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates has released a list of former Judges of High Courts who have been designated as Senior Advocates by the Supreme Court of India. The Apex Court exercised its powers under Section 16(2) of the Advocates Act, 1961 in terms of Guidelines for Designation of Senior Advocates 2026.

2. Justice Debabrata Dash (Former Judge, Orissa High Court)
3. Justice Khwairakpam Nobin Singh (Former Judge, Manipur High Court)
4. Justice Mahboob Ali (Former Judge, Allahabad High Court)
5. Justice N. Nagaresh (Former Judge, Kerala High Court)
6. Justice Shrikant Dattatraya Kulkarni (Former Judge, Bombay High Court)
7. Justice V.G. Arun (Former Judge, Kerala High Court)
